Interested in seeing animals roam freely?  Come visit the Bannerghatta National Park.  You will see all sorts of wild creatures hanging around the park area.

Bannerghatta National Park is big in size.  It is about 105 square kilometers, and forests are what make up most of the land.  Wild animals that call the Bannerghatta National Park home include panthers, leopards, tigers, lions, wild boars, and bison.  In order to see these wild animals, you are going to need to get onboard a caged bus.  These buses are a part of the safari rides.  During the time that you are on the safari bus, you are not to stick your hand out at any point in time.  Doing so can put you at great danger, and you probably don’t want to see that happen.

The safari is definitely Bannerghatta National Park’s biggest selling point.  However, that does not mean that nothing else at Bannerghatta National Park is worthy of your time.  In fact, there are loads of cool things that are worthy of your attention.  You can stroll through the park’s zoological garden.  Then find a nice spot by the pond to sit and relax.  If you are into trekking, you can give Uddigebande a try. 

Getting into the Bannerghatta National Park is not hard at all.  The public transportation system of Bangalore City makes it really easy for travelers to visit Bannerghatta National Park.  You can catch a ride on one of the city busses into Bannerghatta National Park once every 20 minutes.
